Goal Setting via Vision Board Workshop for Educators, Parents and Advocates

What is a Vision Board? (Sometimes called a Dream Board, Inspiration Board, or Treasure Map)

A Vision Board is a powerful visual tool that you can use as inspiration for your journey toward the life you want to live. It can help clarify your hopes, dreams, and goals. Literally, it is any type of poster or board on which you display words and images that represent things you want to be, do, or have in your life.  

Vision Boards are an amazing tool that helps keep you motivated and determined to make your future real.  Teachers promoting a growth mindset will continue to encourage hard work and determination and the vision board supports the goals the student will strive for. Vision boards display words and images of what you want to get out of life.

During the Vision Board Workshop participants will actively engage in the process of creating a vision board.  Experiencing the process will help particpants better understand how to lead their students in the activity.  

Also, during the workshop participants will learn how to implement SMART Goals in the goals setting process.  As adults we know a "A goal without a plan is just a dream", therefore have them create a "dream board" will be meaningless if they are not taught how to formulate a plan that will allow the dream to come true. 

This workshop is for you if:

• You are a parent, teacher, child advocate, counselor or anyone who works with children. 
• You currently promote growth mindset. 
• You want to prepare your child/student to level up in some aspect of their life
• You want to teach Goal Setting using SMART Goals. 
• You want your children/students to get laser focused on theirr goals

• My story with vision boards
• Science behind visualization
• Meditation to get your prepared for your vision board
• Growth Mindset 
• Create SMART Goals 
• What you need to create your vision board (you will do this on your own)
• Getting results once you’ve created your vision board (my tips for manifesting)

• A tablet or a laptop
• A comfortable space 
• Mobile phone
• Charger
• Canva (free account is perfect) and Pinterest
• Poster board, glue, scissors, Markers, magazines and/or other pictures.
